AWS Consultancy - Areas covered
Our Certified AWS Consultants are local to:
- Oxford, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, London
- Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Durham
...but are more than happy to travel further as necessary. Please see the principle areas covered by our AWS Consultants on the map below.
B2B already use Amazon Web Services extensively for both their own and end customer systems. These include the following areas:
- Prototyping - We no longer have to think too deeply about prototyping a new project. With AWS we regularly set up and test new scenarios, sometimes with minutes, rather than the days, weeks and months. This has led to significant reductions in the investment in time and infrastructure that it used to take.
- Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). We have our own secure VPC within the Amazon Cloud. The VPC is 100% secure and can only be accessed by our own personnel, or of course those to which we give explicit permissions for specific purposes only.
- CloudFront - We use this on our own B2B Webshop software SaaS to maximise the performance of the software sited on European based servers. These are accessed from across the world including a significant number of users across in both New Zealand and Australia. Using CloudFront also has the significant additional benefit of reducing the load of our web servers minimising the throughput across our internal networks. This has not only pleased users but given us a significant cost saving and allowed to a 'virtual' increase in capacity without any further investment.
- Amazon Simple Queue Service - SQS - We use this in conjunction with Amazons Lambda - Event-driven compute service, Amazons DynamoDB - NoSQL fast and flexible database service, Amazons S3 Simple Storage Service, Amazons IAM - Identity and Access Management service, to help us integrate our web based B2B Webshop software SaaS with customer end systems. This has led to a significant performance, reliability and flexibility improvements across the board.
