The image below shows how the cloud based B2B Webshop software SaaS can be used. It is linked to an external Supplier / Customer ERP System to provide a complete Last Mile Solution Parcel Collection System.
There are many ways of configuring the system. The costs of setting up and running the system depend on how it is configured.
Typically:
- The whole system runs automatically
- The number of Lockers per Locker Station is between 10 and 100
- More than 1 Locker Station can exist at the same physical site
- The number of Locker Stations can be from 1 upwards
- The Locker Station clean / refill cycle is typically 7 days. This gives users plenty of time to get to the Locker Station to collect their goods. The length of this cycle can vary from Station to Station if required. It is dependent upon site specific factors, and could be as short as 1 day if required
- The Locker clean / load time is built into the refill cycle
- Locker opening PIN notification can be via SMS, email or both
- The Locker Location Timetable allows the user to select when they would like to collect their goods
The Locker Solution currently works with LockTec's Locker Systems, but could be adapted to work with others if required.
